Education Qualification

• For Technical Assistant Gr-II – Bachelor Degree in Science or Higher Secondary /Pre-University in Science with requisite technical Qualification.
• For Junior Assistant Post – Higher Secondary/Pre-University or its equivalent.
• For Junior Compositor Post – Class VIII standard plus proficiency certificate from a recognized institution.
• For Junior machine Man post – Class VIII standard plus proficiency certificate.
• For Junior Proof Pressman post – Class VIII plus 16-years experience in the relavent field.
• For Junior Fly Boy post – Class VIII plus 16-year experience as library Attendant mentioned in the G.O
• For Junior Sorter post – Class VIII plus 16-year experience as library Attendant mentioned in the G.O
• Junior Peon post – Candidates must pass Class VIII standard
• Junior Durwan Post – Candidates must pass Class VIII Standard
• Junior Farash Post – Candidates Must pass Class VIII Standard
• Junior Sweeper Post – Contenders must pass Class VIII standard.

• For Reserved (SC/ST/PD) Candidates – Rs.140/-

• For General & OBC-A/OBC-B Candidates – Rs.150/-
• For Reserved(SC/ST/PD) Candidates – Rs.100/-

Bank Charge/Online payment charge of Rs.5/- is also applicable with fees.

Scale of Pay

As admissible as per Rules of the University of Calcutta.

Exam Pattern

The Exam Pattern for the Group C and Group D vacancies is for the Clerk post 80 multiple choice questions and 60 multiple choice questions for Group D vacancies. The Exam will be conducted offline. There is no negative marking.

WBSSC Admit Card 2021:

The Admit card for the WBSSC recruitment will be released 10 or 15 days before the exam date. Candidate must carry the WBSSC Admit Card 2021 to the examination hall. It is mandatory for every candidate. While going to examination hall candidates must take an identity proof like
